Top Edge Signals
Signals extracted from rolling tables above. Data observations only — not betting recommendations.
Strongest signal
NYY
Fade
FADE: The Yankees bullpen has been a mess this past week, ranking 24th in the league with a 5.70 ERA over the last seven days. Their momentum is trending sharply in the wrong direction. Avoid backing New York when the game is in the hands of their relievers.
SF
Fade
FADE: The Giants bullpen has been one of the worst in baseball lately, ranking 27th this past week with a 6.74 ERA. They are also giving up a lot of baserunners, with a WHIP of 1.85. Avoid San Francisco in games where the bullpen is likely to see heavy action.
MIA
Fade
FADE: Miami's bullpen numbers look okay on the surface this week, but the team's overall momentum has been sliding in the wrong direction. Their longer-term bullpen performance has been much better, so this week could just be a bumpy stretch, but the trend is not on their side right now. Avoid the Marlins until things stabilize.
MIN
Value
VALUE: The Minnesota bullpen has been getting the job done this week, sitting right in the middle of the pack with a 4.06 ERA and positive momentum behind them. They have been pitching a little better than you might expect given their recent results. Back Minnesota's bullpen as a quiet option worth watching this week.
HOU
Value
VALUE: Houston starters have been one of the best in baseball this week, ranking 3rd overall in the last seven days. They are pitching with positive momentum and keeping runs off the board. Back Houston when one of their starters is on the mound this week.
TOR
Fade
FADE: Toronto's starters have put up solid numbers over the past two weeks, but their momentum has dropped sharply and they have been facing easier competition. This week's numbers do not look nearly as good, ranking 19th in the league. Fade the Blue Jays rotation until the momentum turns back around.
CLE
Value
VALUE: Cleveland starters have been the best in baseball this week, ranking 1st overall with just a 1.00 ERA over the last seven days. They are barely letting anyone on base, and the momentum is clearly in their favor. Back the Guardians rotation with confidence right now.
KC
Value
VALUE: Kansas City starters have been steady this week despite facing one of the tougher schedules in the league. They are holding their own with a 3.81 ERA and positive momentum. Back the Royals rotation as a solid value pick even with the tough matchups ahead.
ATH
Value
VALUE: The Athletics offense has been one of the hottest in baseball lately, scoring 5.8 runs per game and ranking 6th overall this week despite playing a tough schedule. Their lineup is doing real damage right now. Back Oakland when their bats are this locked in.
STL
Fade
FADE: The Cardinals offense has been struggling badly, scoring just 3.67 runs per game and ranking near the bottom of the league this week. The whole lineup looks flat and momentum is heading the wrong way. Avoid St. Louis until their bats show some life.

MLB Stats Tracker
The individual player layer behind this newsletter. Look up any batter or pitcher on today's slate with rolling performance windows and color-coded thresholds.
⚾ Batters — AVG / OBP / SLG / HR / K / RBI over last 7, 10, or 21 games with at least one at-bat
⚾ Pitchers — ERA / WHIP / K / BB over last 2, 3, or 4 starts
🔄 Cache refreshes at 6AM PT daily
Methodology
Rolling windows — 7, 14, and 28-day stats from completed games only. Postponed games excluded.
Momentum — rank_28d minus rank_7d. Positive = outperforming recent baseline. Negative = declining.
Schedule strength — avg opponent quality over window. Easy / Avg / Hard. Value on Hard schedule is stronger.
ERA-FIP gap — ERA minus FIP. Gap over 1.0 = ERA likely to regress down (unlucky). Under -1.0 = may regress up.
Signals — Value = momentum +5 or more on Avg/Hard. Fade = -5 or worse on Easy/Avg. Watch = divergence of 3–4.
V1 note: Straight rolling ERA with no leverage weighting. Leverage-weighted bullpen ERA planned for V2.
