Top Edge Signals
Signals extracted from rolling tables above. Data observations only — not betting recommendations.
Strongest signal
DET Value
VALUE: The Detroit bullpen has been one of the best in baseball over the last week, giving up very few runs. They have been getting outs consistently and keeping games under control. Back Detroit when their relievers are called on this week.
NYM Fade
FADE: The Mets bullpen looked solid over the past few weeks but has started leaking runs recently. The recent struggles are a warning sign that things may get worse before they get better. Avoid leaning on the Mets bullpen to hold leads right now.
NYY Fade
FADE: The Yankees bullpen has been giving up more runs lately despite striking out a decent number of batters. They are walking too many hitters and the results have been trending in the wrong direction. Fade the Yankees when games come down to their relief pitching.
PHI Value
VALUE: The Phillies bullpen has been almost untouchable this past week, barely giving up a run. They are riding real momentum right now with the team winning games. Back Philly when their relievers are protecting a lead.
CHC Fade
FADE: The Cubs starters have posted a shiny 1.27 ERA this week, but the numbers behind that suggest they have been a lot luckier than they are good. Things are likely to even out soon and the runs allowed will climb. Fade Chicago starters until we see more consistent results.
PHI Fade
FADE: Philadelphia starters have been struggling, giving up over 5 runs per 9 innings this week and the results have been rough for a while now. The rotation has been a liability more than an asset lately. Fade the Phillies on days when the outcome depends on their starting pitcher.
SD Value
VALUE: San Diego starters have been pitching really well and the results actually match up with how well they have been throwing the ball. They rank at the top of the league this week and have been consistent over the past month. Back the Padres rotation with confidence right now.
ARI Value
VALUE: Arizona's offense has been quietly scoring runs at a solid clip, averaging 5 per game recently. The team is winning and the bats have been carrying their share of the load. Back the Diamondbacks to keep putting runs on the board this week.
BOS Value
VALUE: Boston's offense has been picking up steam lately despite facing a tough schedule. They are scoring around 4 runs a game and the momentum is pointing upward. Keep an eye on the Red Sox bats as they could be heating up at the right time.
SD Value
