Top Edge Signals
Signals extracted from rolling tables above. Data observations only — not betting recommendations.
Strongest signal
NYY Fade
FADE: The Yankees bullpen has a decent ERA this week, but they've been pitching better than the results suggest — meaning the run prevention may not hold up going forward. Their momentum has been trending in the wrong direction lately. Be careful leaning on New York's relief corps this week.
DET Value
VALUE: Detroit's bullpen has been really tough to score against, posting a 1.93 ERA over the last week. They've been holding leads and keeping games close in a way that feels genuine, not lucky. Back Detroit when the game gets to their relief pitchers.
LAA Fade
FADE: The Angels bullpen has been sliding lately, and their recent numbers rank them near the bottom of the league this week. The momentum is heading the wrong way with no clear signs of a turnaround. Avoid trusting Los Angeles out of the bullpen right now.
MIL Fade
FADE: Milwaukee's bullpen has been giving up runs more frequently this week, and the team's overall momentum is pointing down. While their longer-term numbers look solid, the recent trend is worth paying attention to. Hold off on leaning on the Brewers bullpen this week.
MIL Value
VALUE: Milwaukee's starters have been allowing a lot fewer runs than you'd expect based on how they've actually been pitching. Their ERA this week looks bad at 5.27, but the way they've been throwing the ball suggests that number should be much lower. Back the Brewers starters — the results should start catching up to how well they've been pitching.
PHI Fade
FADE: Philadelphia's starters have been getting hit hard lately, and the numbers back it up — a 6.06 ERA this week with a WHIP near 1.68 means runners are constantly getting on base. The recent slide in momentum makes this even harder to ignore. Avoid backing the Phillies rotation right now.
STL Value
VALUE: St. Louis starters have been pitching better than their results show lately, and they've been doing it against a tough schedule. Their ERA this week sits at 3.48, which is solid even if the longer-term numbers have been bumpy. Back Cardinals starters while they're pitching this well against quality competition.
BOS Value
VALUE: Boston's offense has been quietly building momentum and is scoring nearly 5 runs a game recently. Their overall hitting numbers are not eye-popping, but the positive trend is real and worth noting. Keep an eye on the Red Sox lineup — they may be turning a corner.
COL Value
VALUE: Colorado's lineup has been one of the better-performing offenses in the league lately, and they've been doing it against a tough schedule. They're scoring over 5 runs a game and ranking in the top 10 over the last week and two weeks. Back the Rockies bats while they're this hot.
DET Fade
FADE: Detroit's offense has been one of the weakest in baseball recently, averaging just 3.29 runs a game and ranking near the bottom of the league this week. The team's hitting momentum is heading in the wrong direction. Avoid counting on the Tigers lineup to put up runs right now.

Methodology
Rolling windows — 7, 14, and 28-day stats from completed games only. Postponed games excluded.
Momentum — rank_28d minus rank_7d. Positive = outperforming recent baseline. Negative = declining.
Schedule strength — avg opponent quality over window. Easy / Avg / Hard. Value on Hard schedule is stronger.
ERA-FIP gap — ERA minus FIP. Gap over 1.0 = ERA likely to regress down (unlucky). Under -1.0 = may regress up.
Signals — Value = momentum +5 or more on Avg/Hard. Fade = -5 or worse on Easy/Avg. Watch = divergence of 3–4.
V1 note: Straight rolling ERA with no leverage weighting. Leverage-weighted bullpen ERA planned for V2.
