Table Insights
Extracted from rolling tables above.
Strongest
ATH Value
VALUE: The Athletics bullpen has been one of the better relief units over the last week, giving up very few runs. They have been pitching much better than you might expect given how things have gone earlier in the season. Back Oakland when the game gets to their bullpen this week.
BAL Fade
FADE: The Baltimore bullpen has been a mess lately, giving up over 7 runs per 9 innings in the last week. They have been letting runners on base at an alarming rate with a 1.68 WHIP. Avoid Baltimore in games where the bullpen is likely to see heavy action.
KC Value
VALUE: The Kansas City bullpen has been lights out this past week, allowing just over 1 run per 9 innings — best in the league. While they struggled earlier in the season, the recent hot stretch is hard to ignore. Back the Royals bullpen while this momentum continues.
MIL Value
VALUE: The Milwaukee bullpen has been really sharp lately, holding opponents to just 2.4 runs per 9 innings over the last week. They have also been striking batters out at a strong clip. Back the Brewers in games where the bullpen will be counted on.
PIT Fade
FADE: Pittsburgh's starting pitchers have given up 6.6 runs per 9 innings over the last week, which is pretty rough. The starters have been struggling to miss bats and keep runners off base. Avoid the Pirates when leaning on their rotation this week.
SF Value
VALUE: San Francisco starters have looked worse than they probably are lately, giving up runs but pitching better than the numbers show. The team is gaining momentum heading into this stretch. Back the Giants starters as the results should start to catch up with the effort.
KC Value
VALUE: Kansas City starters have had some rough outings recently but have been pitching better than the earned run totals suggest. With the team riding positive momentum overall, the rotation could be turning a corner. Keep an eye on KC starters as a sneaky value play.
LAD Fade
FADE: The Dodgers rotation has actually been pitching very well, posting a strong 2.36 ERA over the last week and holding opponents down consistently over the past month. However, the team has been losing momentum recently despite the good pitching. Fade Los Angeles until the team trend turns back around.
ATH Fade
FADE: The Athletics offense has been sliding lately despite showing decent overall numbers on the season. They are only scoring 3.8 runs per game, which does not give their pitchers much room for error. Avoid Oakland in spots where they need their bats to carry them.
BOS Value
VALUE: The Red Sox are scoring nearly 5 runs a game lately, which is a solid output even if their overall hitting numbers look average. Boston has been building positive momentum and finding ways to put runs on the board. Back the Red Sox offense while they are in this productive stretch.

Methodology
Rolling windows — 7, 14, and 28-day stats from completed games only. Postponed games excluded.
Momentum — rank_28d - rank_7d. Positive = outperforming recent baseline. Negative = declining.
Schedule strength — Value on Hard schedule is stronger.
ERA-FIP gap — ERA minus FIP. Gap over 1.0 = ERA likely to regress down (unlucky). Under -1.0 = may regress up.
Signals — Value = momentum +5 or more on Avg/Hard. Fade = -5 or worse on Easy/Avg.
Straight rolling ERA with no leverage weighting.
